How do I personalise the email notification tone for Viewber emails?
FOR ANDROID
Standard Android Email App
- Add a new contact on your phone with the name Viewber and email address viewings@viewber.co.uk
- Open your “Email” app
- Select the “Menu” button located at the top left corner.
- Select “Settings“
- Find the contact Viewber with the email address viewings@viewber.co.uk
- Select “Choose ringtone” to change the sound that plays when an email arrives.
Gmail App
- Add a new contact on your phone with the name Viewber and email address viewings@viewber.co.uk
- Open the “Gmail” app
- Select the “Menu” button located in the top-left corner
- Choose “Settings“
- Select the email address associated with the account for which you want to modify notifications
- Select “Manage notifications“. Some versions may say “Inbox sound & vibrate“
- Tap “Mail“
- Choose “Sound“ and then select a personalised notification sound.
FOR iOS
Mail App
Add Viewber as a Contact on your device with the email address viewings@viewber.co.uk
- Open the Mail app on your device
- Tap Mailboxes in the top left corner of your device
- Tap on VIP
- Tap on Add VIP
- Tap on Viewber to add to VIP
- After you tap on Viewber, the email address will be automatically added to your VIP inbox
After you've added viewings@viewber.co.uk as a VIP contact, follow the instructions below:
- From the Mailboxes screen, tap the i icon on the VIP row Tap on VIP Alerts
- Tap on Sounds
- Select a personalised notification tone for Viewber emails
